Would RecommendWhile putting it together I kept saying, there is no way this will work. Boy was I surprised, I have an acre that I had to thatch and it work great. The only thing I had an issue with, is the block slid off the end ( I have a very bumpy yard.My husband did fixed it by putting a metal plate on each end.

"Learning curve"
Would RecommendTook me a while to get through directions and putting parts all in order. Then started to assemble. Probably took more time than should have. But finished and started using. Tines are not the easiest to secure. A screwdriver didn't work for me. Ended up using a hammer and put a couple of towels under the base and able to secure tines. This is my first time using De-thatcher. So far it is going well.

Dispatcher worked great. Pulled a lot of the dead grass out as expected. Only concern is about putting two large cinderblocks on the detacher because of the size of the tines.

Very Disappointing
Would Not RecommendI purchased and assembled this dethatcher over the labor day weekend. Assembly not all that difficult, but the actual performance leaves lots to be desired. You definitely will need to use weights so that the devise can reach into the thatch but will find that even after multiple runs with the unit there can very well be significant areas of your lawn that may require hand raking. Of course, the whole point of using this attachment it to avoid raking. There are other options that may work for yo...

raise/lower bar poor design
Would Not RecommendI bought the john deere version. First off the unit is about 1 foot short to allow you to use it with your bagger. the raise lower handle bends from being in contact with the bagger. The handle is cheap and bends easily. the bending problem is very commom.
