Great Product

I have two of these devices. One for home and one for my cabin. It's cool being able to check the winds, temp and direction to plan for the day or hunt. Also the specs say it does not have the pressure but it does. You can see it in the pic. It will even tell you if the pressure is falling so you know if a storm is coming in. Great product.

Did Not Work

I am returning because the display would not stay on. Flashed blue a couple of times then went out completely. I tried another batch of new batteries just in case but that did no good either. Read where several others received units that did not work properly. I will give it one more try with a replacement, then if I experience the same thing, will get a refund.

Lots of fun and informative.

It has been fun and informative to keep track of the weather by checking the inside display.. You can stick your head out and get most of the information - hot, cold, raining, etc. - but this unit gives a more complete picture of what's happening. My wife loves to follow the weather on TV and now can check it out where we live. Digital Weather Station

So far this product is great, i love that it has solar power...i had a different brand before and when i changed the batteries on the unit outside I couldn't get it to work again, so i purchased this unit because of the solar power and i like that it tells me when it's gonna rain or storm and gives rain amount and keeps track of this with a year to date feature.

Not bad in all respects. The monitor and station didn't communicate over channel A, but B worked just fine. The display buttons are a touch flaky, mainly they scroll too easily, but that is easily gotten around.Mounting was a pile easier than the older unit that it replaced, but then mounting one item instead of 3 is easier in the first place. Yes very easy install

Very Easy Install don't need to mess with the rain gauge all you need to do is change the batteries out of the outside unit once a year

not worth it

So many places you can not put it, we gave up and returned it to store. Examples: ha s to be xx feet away from building or trees. Can not be where water from sprinkler hits lt. Has to be x feet off the ground. It is not worth what you have to do to find a plsce for it. Will not get into all the issues with setting it up

Much better than my old one

I had a less featured packed station that had also come from Lowe's and it finally died. Our local Lowe's had weather stations in store, but not this one. I looked it up online, liked it and ordered it for store pick up at another nearby Lowe's, getting their last one. By the time I placed my order the store had just closed but I shortly got a message it was ready and I picked it up the next morning. Weather Ticker

Everything on the monitor works well except for the Weather Ticker which scrolls across the bottom. The messages are so light that you can not read them. I tried in the battery mode and the AC adaptor mode, but still no good.

Good procuct but touchy

This unit works well but there is something wrong with the touch screen. Half the time you press the button on the screen it locks up and doesn't respond for a few minutes or says "calibrating". I believe that there may be something wrong internally but since I normally use it only for monitoring, it is not a huge issue. Works well and tracks the rainfall almost perfectly.

Birthday Gift

We lost our weather station in the Derecho last year and this was a present to replace that. I love that it has an alarm that can be turned off and on. My husband likes light up ability and ease of use.

Love this weather station, but...

This is a really cool tool to keep track of weather, rain totals and more. It's so much more accurate than the weather man because it's specific to your property. My only complaint is that the touch pad is sensitive. My boyfriend and I each have one of these units and had to return the originally purchased unit for a new one. The second unit seems to work fine. It's only been 6 months so I'm not sure what kind of life to expect out of this. My dad loved it so I bought him one for his birthday. ...

Rain

The only thing I don't care for is the way the rainfall is recorded. It measures the amount of rain in a rain event. I would prefer a 24 hour count. If you don't watch it closely how much rain you received.

This is the perfect weatger station

I really like this unit, easy to setup and works great. Order the Network Bridge and you can see your weather station from anywhere with an internet connection, plus with the weather underground, you can share your data with others.

Replaced twice...........broke again.

Out of the box the display unit didn't work properly. The buttons would only function briefly after a reset then nothing. Lowes exchanged it and everything worked fine for about a month until the rain gauge portion of the instrument failed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Not working properly out of the box.

I purchased this product, removed it from the box installed batteries and tried to set it up. The touch pads on the bottom of the display unit were impossible to use. A call to the company found that there was a problem with the touch pads of a series of these units and they are sending me a new unit. Otherwise this weather station works as shown on the box.
