AcuRite 5 in one Weather Station

Never could get sensor to communicate with base unit. Tried calling tech support phone number. Reply on phone said company no longer accepting phone calls. I was told to "go on-line". I ran thru trouble shooting suggestions. Did not solve problem. Tried "chat line". Could not get through. Gave up, returned unit for credit.

Short life span

Bought the unit in 2017. Worked great for 13 months, then quit reading outside temp and humidity. Was told the temperature-sensor circuit board needed to be replaced at my cost ..... but was out of stock. No consideration for sending a replacement part as a gesture of good will/customer support when back in stock. Was told it was inexpensive so I should just buy it. Easy to set up w/ clear directions & even easier to use!

AcuRite Digital Weather Station

This was a replacement for another AcuRite Weather Station that was damaged during Hurricane Florence. It was easy to install and up and running in just minutes. It gives accurate data and is great for tracking weather changes.

Winter home and the weather

We stay in lower Keys and we have to stay up on the weather and the weather system works great. This is our 2nd one it is very reliable.

NICE TO HAVE

This unit is fairly accurate, but it hasn't entered into forecast mode yet - it's still learning. Very easy to use. The only problem I had was mounting; had to buy a metal pipe, get it cut down and pound it into the ground.

We are retired, keeping track of the weather is one of the things we now have the time to do. This weather station was recommended to us by our son, a professional contractor. The readings are great for our older eyes. The only issue we had was that the mounting bracket is short and flimsy. We opted out on it and instead used 3/4 inch black iron pipe. It's great while it last but AcuRite does not make them to last. And they don't have parts so the most you'll get is around two years. This my second one and it will be the last. If you still want one these make sure it's plugged into a surge protector.

Have only been using for about a week but so far seems pretty accurate. Course we've had nothing but rain so maybe it's too early to tell.

When my Oregon Scientific rain gauge "died," I knew that I needed to replace it with something my scientific. I headed straight to Lowe's as I looked at weather equipment there before. When I spotted the Acu-Rite Weather Center, it didn't take me long to purchase it and to set it up. It was remarkable easy to get started. I love my Acu-Rite and hope that I have it for a long, long time.

Easy set up, display backlighting makes the display easy to read. Accuracy has yet to be determined.

Have had 3 similar units and life on the product is a max of TWO YEARS.

Nice Weather Station

Seems to work really well. We’ve only had it a couple of weeks but seems to be very accurate. I would recommend this product.

AcuRite weather station

This is amazing! It can forecast the weather in my immediate area. I don’t have to rely on the local tv station to forecast for the entire viewing area. I love it.
