I purchased this model (on 9/1/23) from Lowes. I was DISPPOINTED to find out that this model will not work with AcuRite's OWN weather app for smart devices. It is surprising that a company would make a product that is only supported by Weather Underground and not their own. Other than that it works great.

Does not read rain fall correct. Temperature reads high.

Doesn't Work on 5GHz Network

I was really excited to get this weather station because I love data. I was extremely disappointed when I found out during setup, that it needs to operate on 2.4GHz and my router is 5GHz. There is NOTHING on the box that states this is the case. Luckily, all I did was take it out of the box and start the setup prior to installing it where I wanted. Unfortunately, I will be returning this in the next few days. Very disappointed.

LED completely failed after less than one year

This product struggled from day one. The LED around the rain sensor numbers never displayed correctly. The product is cheaply made from china. Less than a year later, the product completely failed. This weather station lasted shortest of all stations I tried.

Older model, but does basic functions

Won't connect to wifi, so Mobile app is worthless. Screen does not have an inactivy sleep mode. Expect the images to burn in soon. Firmware is from 2018.

Worth the investment

As near as I can tell, the data collected is accurate. Just remember to buy backup batteries or you’ll lose data and be resetting it every time your power goes out.

Very nice weather station

Very nice weather station. Like the big screen and that it is easy to read. Seems to be very accurate so far.

i purchased this product in may of 2021. It was a replacement for one that quit working after about 2 years. After about a year and a half It stared losing signal from the sensor. I cleaned it according to instructions reestablished connection with display, returned it outside, and it worked for about an hour before it quit working again. Having the same problem with two units I am going to go to another brand. Thank you

The display is great. The connection process to Wi-Fi was extremely difficult. Definite struggle.

5 in 1 Acurite

Got this as a much anticipated Christmas gift. It's fairly accurate when compared with other stations in my area. I temporarily mounted the sensor to my fence about 6' up until I'm able to build a mount for my roof. The only thing I don't like is the 18 second refresh interval. A strong wind gust can come and go in 18 seconds and I often only catch the tail end of the gust logging it as a lower speed than it really was.

DIsplay is not the greatest.

The unit functions just fine but in my opinion, the display is hard to see across the room. I have the display on our entertainment center about 12 feet from my recliner. The contrast between the numbers and the background is poor and it's difficult to read. I will be returning it.

Expensive

This item a Christmas present. Have not used it yet. Why not use sense & be patient.
