Would RecommendThis type S mortar mix has been one of best products Ive used in the past 30 years. I've been a brick and stone mason for 50 years. It mixes easily and has precise amounts of ingredients to produce a smooth..easy to spread mix and it adheres to your material whether its brick or block. It forms a rock hard bond .I've actually driven my backhoe into some block work and didnt have any broken joints between block broken block. Plus the packaging seems to be water and moisture proof.

Would RecommendA friend of mine who is a life long mason helped me lay some block. He asked where I got this cement from, and asked 'Lowes'? I said yes and he said it was better than the stuff they sold at the place he usually buys his concrete materials from which is a specialty business dealing with stone, rock, brick, block, veneers, etc. so I thought that said a lot about this product.

Would RecommendUsed this to set some flagstone on an existing sidewalk. Made it a little thick for the base and thinned it out some for the grouting. My project came out great!
