Good auger for the price
Would RecommendI’m happy with this auger. Starts and runs well. I used it dig 12 footers for a deck in clay soil. Rocks were a problem but no auger can handle them.

this auger is an absolute beast. rips through dirt no problem. easy to build out of the box and includes all the tools necessary to do so. easy to start and stop when you need it to. Wont rip through roots or rock, but everything else is good 👍🏻
Broke after 2 and a half holes
Would Not RecommendThe auger is very underpowered. Mine broke after 2 and a half holes. The engine revs but the auger won't turn. I get to stare at my auger while I dig the holes by hand.

Would Not RecommendI tried contacting the company numerous numerous times to resolve an issue with the unit. Their phone number in the owner's manual rings and rings, then goes to voicemail. No one ever answered. No one returned my 3x voicemails. I emailed the form on the website requesting information and contact, but no one ever reached out. Purely out of poor professionalism from this company (ThunderBay), DO NOT BUY.
