The patch kit worked great. Made the job so easy and quick.

Good idea, no follow through

The adhesive did not stick. Put it inside drywall like it was supposed to, held it 3x as long as directed to make sure it stuck, went to spackle over it, and the patch fell inside the wall. Didn’t hold at all.

Great for Filling Outlet Sized Hole

We pulled out some redundant outlet boxes that previous owners put in. Works like a charm. We over filled the hole about 1mm up and 10mm outward. When it was dry, sanded smooth for the blend. Couldn’t even tell where it was after texturing and painting. Have used 4 of these with the same result.

This worked great, I was able to fix a small hole that was in a door, you cant even tell a hole was ever there!

Poor value for what you get.

Had to repair and replace drywall where hand grip had been pulled out of wall, only used sparkle like material, mesh was too small, plastic pad for cement was useless. Plastic spackle knife was trash.

Quick easy repair

I was able to repair a 5 inch hole in less than 15 minutes. Very easy to use. I recommend watching the video that is linked to the product.

Works better than expected

Used this to repair a 4 x 4 hole in the ceiling after dropping my drill in attic. Didn't want to cut out and replace a section so I use some fiber tape to back the repair and filled in layers letting dry over night between coats. After sanding flat, priming and painting, this was absolutely the most undetectable repair I have ever made. I am now using this for all my wall repairs including molding gaps and ceiling cracks. Great wall compound for big and small repairs.

This wall repair compound vastly eases the process of sheetrock repair. It reduces the need for taping and i now use it exclusively because of the rapid dry property and ease of sanding smooth.(

So much easier to use than Dap Drydex spackling

This product is much easier to use - goes on softer, more fluid than other products I've used over the decades. Any time you have a ding in your wall, or need to patch where a curtain rod or towel rod was, this product is a winner.

This product is much easier to spread than Dap or other brands for drywall repair covering. It's softer and more fluid. The packaging also has snap notch in the side so it's easier to reopen and "burp" close to get the air out. This is much easier than a round container with no access to open and close easily. Highly recommend this 3M product.

Better than any wood filler or spackle if it painting it. Wouldn't use anything different

patch work

The patch work was great you can no longer tell that there was a hole in the wall.

Drying Time? Forever

Was pleasantly surprised at the texture and ease of application, but drying time is an issue. I had an outdoor application filling a hole in a wood column, not structural. applied at 70F, night time down to 40, no rain. A week later it is still spongy, not solidified. I don't think you could sand it. Instructions are very poor/nonexistent. Maybe indoors it could work-it does not seem to shrink much compared to regular spackle

Was able to patch several large holes in the walls. Looks good after the patch.

Don’t waste your money

Please do not waste your money! The adhesive does not stick and will fall right off. It’s a nice all in one solution but unfortunately does not work and you will most likely have to use an alternative method.

This is a great product.

I had a 5-6" hole with questionably good backing as a hornet's nest had filled the wall. This was ready to use and instructions were good. I held the folded plastic insert about 1-2 minutes because I was a bit worried about it holding but no problem. The hole was anything but round and symmetrical. So I had to stuff in some paper towel in edger just for a little filling on what was left without the backing. I was happy to see that the spackling was fiber reinforced. This 3M kit with quick patch works great I did a very professional job with it.

Sounds good and easy !

I bought the kit seem like very easy to follow the instructions I also watched the video I did it step-by-step as instructed but it would not a hair I did everything I was directed still would not here thanking the tape might be old I went and bought some 3M double back tape heavy And that did not work so I am not happy with the product I would like a refund

use glue

Basic idea is good but the tape woudn’t hold and i had to start over and used E6000 glue to hold the backer in place. The compound is good but keep water handy to smooth it out.
