Great product

I've got kids, which means I've got thumbtack, nail, screw holes in the wall as well as bump dents from doors flung open too hard, and of course the mystery holes... Anyway, this 3M large hole repair is amazing. It's light and fluffy and fibrous. It goes on so smooth and dries hard quickly, so fixing a hole start to finish, including painting, is done in a matter of minutes.

Easy to use

I found this repair kit easy to use and it left an almost flawless finish. I have a little experience in drywall and home repair, but I feel like not much knowledge was needed to make this stuff turn out great.

Did the job

The adhesive to stick to the wall wasnt that strong once you start covering the cover the hole. But it worked it, it made the wall bumpy since i had to apply more than expected since the net was caving in. But some sand paper fixed that!

This product has a lighter consistency than traditional joint compound and dries much faster. I applied it over a wall patch and it adhered pretty well and covered evenly with little to no breaks or gaps. Pretty easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this kit to cover a hole in the wall where me moved a sconce up onto the ceiling. The kit was very easy to use and the directions walked me through prep, filling the hole and finishing it. Once the wall was textured and painted you couldn't even tell there had been a light there. Make sure you know what they mean by "large hole" because my hole was still pretty small and I used every bit of material provided.

Apply, let dry and it's super easy to sand and even paint over once finished. This was so much less stressful than spackle and easier to apply. You couldn't even tell there was a hole.when I was finish. Pretty good for a single Mom I must say.

Not so handy

I did step out on a limb and give it a try when my teen son accidentally fell onto his bedroom wall using his fist to stop himself.
