Won’t dry!

Don’t buy this product. It takes forever to become hard. It remains chalky and soft for a long time.

Fantastic product & time saver

I'm a third generation drywall finisher I really enjoy this product. I use it for most touch up repair first coat application It eliminates the need for mesh, fiber, or paper tape reducing build up and build out of mud keeping patches much flatter

did the job...twice

purchased this to repair a hole in a client's home where she created a hole behind her front door with her new doorknob... standard 5/8" drywall wall (1977 built) - worked like a charm so I bought one to repair a hole in my wall. not as easy to install on the older materials in my home (1950 built) but still easy to use and did the job with leftover compound both times. textured and painted after and now you cannot see there is even a patch.

great stuff, worth the extra cost

light weight, dries fast, non shrinkage, sands well, easy to work with, nice container.

Dry Time???

The product worked very well for my purposes. BUT! Seriously 3M what’s the big secret about dry time before sanding or just in general. Give us something or at least a range in hours. You get minus one star for that alone.

Excellent except the package

We have used this product extensively for repairs in our apartment units, it’s better than anything we’ve used before! My only complaint is the package. It comes sealed with plastic film, once opened it dries out quickly because the lid is so loose. It can’t stay on by itself, must be taped or weighted. Even then it doesn’t seal at all.

Quick fix

The patch kit worked great. Made the job so easy and quick.

Good idea, no follow through

The adhesive did not stick. Put it inside drywall like it was supposed to, held it 3x as long as directed to make sure it stuck, went to spackle over it, and the patch fell inside the wall. Didn’t hold at all.

Great for Filling Outlet Sized Hole

We pulled out some redundant outlet boxes that previous owners put in. Works like a charm. We over filled the hole about 1mm up and 10mm outward. When it was dry, sanded smooth for the blend. Couldn’t even tell where it was after texturing and painting. Have used 4 of these with the same result.

This worked great, I was able to fix a small hole that was in a door, you cant even tell a hole was ever there!

Works as advertised

Repaired a 4”x6” section of damaged lathe and plaster in my old home. Plaster was missing, revealing the lathe below. A piece of lathe was missing, revealing a 1/2” wide hole several inches long. I applied this product successfully to repair the hole in two applications. Due to the amount and depth of the amount applied, it took many hours to dry. By 12 hours, it was hardened enough for the second application.

Poor value for what you get.

Had to repair and replace drywall where hand grip had been pulled out of wall, only used sparkle like material, mesh was too small, plastic pad for cement was useless. Plastic spackle knife was trash.
