[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to find a tool to remove the top peices and lid after that it was easy to use. Shake before using or mix it some. I don't know if you have to do that but I did. Lasted and still have lots left for another project. I used it on an old TV tray. Love the color. Great value for your money.

Gives wood products a nice pop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wood finish is easy to apply, especially with the Purdy soft bristle brush. Coverage wise, it gives the wood a nice even color. Follow the directions and allow 5 min to set in, then wipe off. Nect apply top coat for maximum durability. No harsh chemical odor.

Novice at Staining Wood

Transformed my Project!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Minwax Wood Finish Color Series Dark Walnut Premium Oil-Based Stain gave me the exact results that I was looking for. I couldn’t be more pleased with this stain. Application was super easy. Make sure you wear rubber gloves to protect your skin. As you can see in the pictures the deep and rich walnut tone looks so good. Drying time was quick. Now I can’t wait to try some of the other colors!

Great color and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time staining wood for a small art project. It was so easy to do! There are instructions on the can that I followed. I was surprised it didn’t have a stronger chemical smell when I opened it but still made sure I was working in a well ventilated area. I only used a little bit initially and I’m surprised it covered a lot of the small block. The color is great! You can see the before and after colors in my photo

Quick drying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I refinished a table with this and it looks great 😊 it’s easy too use and drys quicker than most stains I’ve used, it is a little less stinky than others too.

Wonderful color for my planters

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stain is odorless and with just one coat it looked amazing I used this on my planter for the pouch it took only mins to apply and with it outside it dried in a matter of hours .

One coat stain with great coverage!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stain spreads evenly and covers with one single coat. Easy to apply and great coverage. Stays true to the color of the stain. First coat dries fairly quickly. I do not recommend a second coat.

Excellent quality stain

I’m in the process of redoing a few pieces of furniture and this stain looks beautiful on the table top I’m finishing now. I stripped and sanded the piece, then applied the stain — it’s flawless. I love how even it applies and how nice the color is.

Easy to work with

Easy to apply Wood Finish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this new wood stain from Minwax. Easy to stir up and apply. Super thick so I only need one coat. Not much of an odor at all. Excited to use this color stain on other projects.

Quality stain, be aware of oil base vs water base application

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Minwax Amber stain is easy to use and provides nice coverage. My photos show a sample of Amber stain with one coat and two coats on the far right of the stick. It’s a very nice, warm color. It can be applied with a brush or a rag, and it can be re-coated after two hours. Oil based stain is definitely more durable than water based stain. Dried quick, went on easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this stain! I used it to stain a wood slice. It soaked in and dried quickly. It was very easy to apply. The odor was not very noticeable. All in all a great stain! I received this free for my honest review from #influenster. Will purchase this in the future!

Good wood stained

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This leaves a pretty good and cool finish on wood. As a beginner this is pretty easy to use. I left it to dry for about a day and it was good. The odor is a little strong .

Stain on pine wood almost yellowish, but a good product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used the amber stain (one coat) on 2 woods, white oak and pine. The stain was easy to apply for both woods, and dried quickly. What we did next was apply one coat of polyurethane. The smell from the stain was almost non existent. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the pine almost had a yellowish tinge. The white oak looked great. Just test your woods before applying.

Good coverage

It’s got a nice golden brown wood stain finish and it soaks into wood so good and quick and honestly it dries really fast too with easy coverage so I’d say get some it’s so easy to use and smells just like any other stain but man I’d say get it!
