Hot Garbage
Would Not RecommendAs a DIYer this product is garbage. Stain does not stain well at all says you can apply additional coats for a darker finish. This is a lie. Don’t waste your money. Also any product that doesn’t provide specific instructions is hiding something let “dry”. What does that mean. “Not wet” right. Still garbage. Vague instructions to remove them from responsibility when their product fails.

Would Not RecommendLocal store didnt have the color i needed. Associate said she can mix the color. Unfortunately the color was way off, as well as this can is not even close to the consistency of regular stain. Its more like a paint. Associate didn't tell me that.

Not good for spraying
The color looks more blue than gray and it's really inconsistent if you try spraying it on. I would recommend hand application.

Successfully used over Minwax Oil Stain
Would RecommendWhen my front door was too dark after using Minwax oil based stain in Espresso, I decided to try applying a "color wash" using this product in the standard blue tint. While it took longer to dry, the finish is durable and very attractive. Of course, I used varnish to preserve the finish.
