Left streaks after primer and 2 coats

This could be user error, but I followed all of the instructions to include priming with KILLZ first. After two coats, it still has not covered and there are streaks. If you try to go back and add extra paint, it clumps up. I used a different brand on my kitchen cabinets and it worked perfectly. I’m just not sure why this turned out so horrible.

Love this paint! I painted a bookshelf in my school office that needed an update. The paint mixed well- and the color was uniform at application. The paint covered the old surface well. I did add a second coat just for wear and tear, but I could have just put on one. The coverage was smooth, no clumps and went on very even. The color dried exactly to the shade I expected. I would suggest this paint to anyone and everyone!

Great coverage and fast drying

The Kilz Magnolia Home cabinetry and furniture paint is some of the smoothest applying product I’ve ever used. It was very easy to apply and went on with the brush and roller quite nicely. Even though it is cabinetry/furniture paint, I used it to cover two accent walls in the bathroom. High quality paint in a luxury color.

I tested this paint on a 1x6 pine board that I plan to use as flooring in the spare room. It seemed a little sticky, but went on quick and evenly. The color is excellent, a darker gray with a hint of slate blue - not a shade I have seen before. It dried quicker than I thought - its 73 degrees outside with humidity of 70%, but it was dry to the touch in just a few minutes. The cans opened up easily and closed just as well. High quality paint, excellent color and coverage.

I tested this paint on a 1x6 pine board that I plan to use as flooring in the spare room. It seemed a little sticky, but went on quick and evenly. I wiped half the board with paper towel to get a whitewashed or stained effect. I also used it over another color (Duke Gray) with dry brush and also as a wipe. Smooth, full color, nice paint.

Just like the picture. Opened the can and the paint is smooth and thick. I cannot wait to use it. I just got out of the hospital and have a small project for this week.

Smooth, true color, thick, great paint.

True color, nice and thick and smooth to apply. I just got out of the hospital and plan to use it on the basket (picture) this week. Follow up pictures of the project to follow. Then I am painting a table. Got to get well first.

Impressive Paint

I used this to paint a small wooden table and was impressed with how great it turned out. The paint applies evenly and I didn't see any brush strokes - which is exactly what you want from a furniture paint. It also acts as a primer so you don't need much. One coat almost did the job completely for me and I only needed to go back over a few places with the second coat. The color is a greenish teal and less "gray" than the name implies. Great product for giving new life to your furniture!

Amazing paint in the right color!

One word - Amazing! I was looking for this color for a while and tried several other paint products only to be disappointed. This paint covers amazingly well and flattens out well. Would recommend for a wall or furniture, or even a cabinet.

Another Great product from KILZ Paints

KILZ Paints are quickly becoming my go to paint and primer for general projects and painting. Beautiful Gray Paint for furniture or cabinets

This is a nice gray hue with a subtle blue tone. Probably too dark for entire rooms walls (unless you’re going to dark vibes), but excellent for smaller items. I will end up pairing some kitchen cabinets for my shop room in this tone, but for now I just tried a swatch on the back of the door.

Nice, high quality paint

I tested this Magnolia Home Cabinet and Furniture paint from KILZ on the vinyl covered cabinets in our travel trailer. I first primed the cabinet area wilt KILZ Adhesion paint to insure the final paint will stick. I then laid down a coat of the Magnolia Home paint. It went on very smoothly using both a paint brush and roller. Cleanup was as easy as with any other water base paint. The Magnolia Home paint made by Kilz works great on covering old surfaces. I used it repaint the front door where our dog had scratched it. It covered well and left a nice smooth finish. Definitely would recommend

Love the quality of the paint (no question) however two things that you must be aware of. 1- you will need more than one coat per surface which isn’t a problem but something to be aware of. 2- you may find the fumes on the higher end of the scale. So make sure to paint in a well ventilated area or wear a good respirator.

Glossier than expected.

This is a nice can of paint. It is easily applied with either a brush or roller and the cleanup is easy with water. It took a few coats to get the coverage I wanted and the dry sheen is a little glossier than I was expecting but overall a nice paint.

Went on easy!

I was excited to try this furniture paint. I have never painted any furniture and I thought this would be a good paint to start with. I did use primer on my project before using the paint. When it came to painting, the paint went on with no issues. It went on very smooth and there were no streaks. I was pleasantly surprised on how easy it was to use. I did put 2 coats of paint on my piece and it still looked good. The color is a true match and it is very versatile.

Beautiful color!

I used this for a wall that I just didn't know what to do with. The color was beautiful and easy to apply. I had to use two coats, but the previous color was dark and I didn't bother to prime, so this worked fine. I thought it would lighten as it dried, but it did not, so it was a little darker than expected, but I ended up loving it anyway.
