Horrible paint

This paint is like a white wash. It does NOT coat anything with three coats of paint.

Definitely buy a bigger can for larger projects

I bought the cabinet paint in white. I thought it would be good paint for my vanity. It was expensive, but in the past I found expensive paint actually was cheaper because you didn't have to use as much paint. I sanded, cleaned, and primed the vanity. The paint was a bit thin and required multiple coats, which is taking forever because the paint never seems to dry. It says you can apply the 2nd coat in 2 hours, but it is still tacky. Paint cover well over a primer. Only needed one coat.

Terrible Paint

The paint is hard to use compared to other brands from paint stores. Difficult to get a good finish. The paint is also not durable at all. We painted a table and chairs with 1 coat primer and 2 coats paint. The paint is already wearing off after just a few months of very light use (1 time per week max). We let the paint dry for several days and it still was tacky to the touch for over a week. The only good thing about this paint is the color palette is nice.

Beautiful finish

I have had a little hall tree piece of furniture. I bought it many years ago and it’s been stuck in my basement so I decided to add it to my many furniture refurbishing projects! Easy to apply

I love this paint. It is easy to apply, long workable time. I used the color Iron Ore and covered cabinets in two coats. Highly recommend for the DIY.

Best cabinet paint I’ve ever used!

I am a loyal SW fan and have helped family and friends paint some kitchen cabinets over the years. However, I did a lot of research on cabinet paint for a recent kitchen remodel and was impressed by the dry time on this magnolia paint. It is made by Killz and drys in half the time of anything else available. I bought a quart to try it out and it went on very smooth as I brushed it on with a 4” velour roller from Lowe’s. Thin and semi gloss chips

I have painted 4 coats because it does not cover well, the paint is very thin. I had three doors that were completely done for a couple of days and I ended up stacking them on top of each other, well they stuck and chipped! I have prepped my cabinets to the T! I sanded them, primed them and lightly sanded again. I am beyond frustrated because my kitchen is torn apart I wanted to do the best job because I’m a perfectionist (me crying) ps I had all cupboards and drawers painted.

This paint does scratch off, did I do so Something wrong? The surface was not a high gloss it was clean.

Paint is streaky, thin and runny

I was super excited to try this out and use it on a shelving unit I was re finishing. When going to apply the first coat after sanding and priming the paint was very runny and had the consistency of water. It also was super streaky. Maybe I got a bad batch ? Most of the other reviews say the paint should be very thick and go on smoothly. I am disappointed!

I used the color shiplap which was supposed to be off white but it was very white. And something I learned is that if you want to paint furniture you should use semi gloss not satin because the paint didnt have much in the way of shine but that was my mistake the paint itself was very nice and easy to use the coverage was great.

Doesn’t cover

I have done 3 coats and now another. So angry. To expensive and not worth it!
