Great paint

Versatile and Hearty

Great application

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As far as applying the paint, I love it. It went on smoothly and had good coverage. As with any outdoor paint, it's more about longevity. That would require a year of Texas whether to give a review on its durability. So far looks good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Valspar - Defense Exterior Paint and Primer is my favorite now. I like that combination formula of a paint plus primer. The product has a thicker texture and applies easily covering all imperfections such as scratches and small holes. The color is nice and bright. I like Valspar quality and results. Great paint!

Quality Paint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this Valspar paint on a back shed and the paint went on really well. It worked really well to cover up old stains and discoloration on the shed. Shortly after painting the shed, it rained and I was able to see firsthand how the water beads rolled off, so I have high hopes that the product will deliver protection against any moisture. Really great product!

Great quality paint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently used Valspar Defense to update my back porch. I chose the Hopsock tint for a nice warm look. Painting was easy with both a roller and brush. One coat did the job. Looks great. Highly recommend this quality paint for exterior surfaces.

Perfect for door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to use this paint for my exterior door to make sure it withstands all the chaotic weather we get here in Louisiana. The quality of this point is evident. The built in primer works well. I was able to cover a dark color with the lighter version in two coats. I love it and I have gotten many compliments on the paint and color.

It was easy to apply, it had good coverage, and the finish was nice and smooth. I love the vast color selection they offered and the fact that this is water resistant and a one-coat process, it really gave our house a fresh, new look.

Good primer

Most of this we washed during prep and scraped, but even so, areas remained discolored. One coat of this paint applied by brush completely covered these areas, and even a few spots that weren't prepped. Excellent paint and primer in one.
