[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We painted several rooms with Valspar 2000 in the satin finish. I love it! I did take a second coat to evenly coat the walls in our bedroom. The ceilings only required 1 coat. The finish is beautiful. I love how it has a soft sheen. It is much easier to keep clean vs. the previous paint. Two coats, really?

I thought this paint and primer was supposed to be one coat! I am not painting over a dark color, it’s a light tan. Very disappointing since I’m doing the small bedroom twice. Do not buy!

Peels off in sheets!

I built brand new shelves in 5 closets, used MDF, primed with KILZ 2 and painted with Valspar 2000 High Hide White. The paint covered well and only required one coat on top of the primer. After allowing 2 weeks of dry time simply wiping with a damp sponge will cause the paint to bubble and peel off in sheets. Adhesion should be a basic requirement of paint, but I see in the reviews many other users are having similar issues. I'm sick to my stomach over all the time and materials wasted!

Doesn’t coat very well

Bought this again because of an old can I still have from years ago. Formula must’ve changed because it was super watery and even after 3 coats the coverage is poor. Won’t buy again.

Don’t buy this poor quality paint.

Painted my living room with this and you can see every single imperfection underneath. Walmart’s cheapest can of paint with no primer works better than this.

Paint spill unopened by me

Someone scotch taped on side of the lid and it fell over on my step landing before I even used any. Spilled everywhere. The can had been opened and taped shut

I will Never use any vslspar product including brushes after this I've painted for 38 years and I have never had to strip the same wall let alone 5 times and it still looks like garbage I have a video but they won't allow me to upload it though it states its optional wonder why
