I've had chocolate milk that's thicker..

Horrible thin runny... terrible coverage. Lowes should be embarrassed to offer this at the price point they do. Save yourself time money & frustration and buy a name brand from a competitor at the same price.

Good Paint

Good quality S/G paint. Good flow. Decent coverage going over darker color. 2 coats did trick. Have that new bright white look again. Price point w quality is good. I refuse to pay the outragous prices on overhyped paint claims. I'm assuming this is comparable SW Pro-Mar 200 hence this Valspar label. Highest end contractor paint. Does what it's meant to.

It's a hard no for me

Does not cover in 1 single coat, wall looks patchy after the first coat. Decided on the cheaper route since it was the same color...do not buy unless you want to waste your time recoating.

Several coats

As a contractor for more than 40 years - this specific brand/model (Valspar 2000) is the lowest quality paint I've ever seen. Says it's a paint + primer, but after (5) coats I still see small blemishes on the painted surface. I purchased it in the store and had them shake it up in the machine before taking it home and using it. Use this paint if you like painting! Very thin paint

I purchased Valspar 2000 flat white to repaint my ceiling. The salesman warned me the Valspar 4000 was running but the 2000 should be fine for the ceiling. I decided to do the ceiling first and wasn't worried about cutting in at the wall since I can clean it up when I cut in the walls. It so running I'm having to backtrack just to clean up the runs...and I'm not overloading my brush. Hate to think what the Valspar 4000 is like. Next time I'll spend few bucks extra to get a quality paint.

Terrible paint

I have put four coats of white over lavender and it still needs another coat. I am heading to ACE, they have the best pain according to CR.

Save money, get Valspar 2000, you'll be pleased.

This paint is the less expensive kind, but it covers very well and cleans up easily. I can't imagine that spending more money for paint would dramatically change my painting experience.
