I love that I was saved the step of adding primer, first. I found the perfect brand, and shade of paint to make my patio pop, and look amazing. The color is absolutely beautiful and is ready to withhold the winter months. I highly recommend this brand.

I love that it is a paint and primer both saving me the added step of priming first. It is thicker than other paints I've used and the coverage is excellent. Great paint for trim!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got a nice bright white color for painting older wooden trim on a shed. Coverage was thick and easy (a little extra brushwork required because the wood was aged), but was able to spread into cracks, nail holes, etc. without need for a separate primer. Big timesaver and it looks so much better!

After cleaning the trim I stirred the paint well and went to work. It goes on so smooth and even fills in small cracks with no problem. I waited 4 hours to let it dry and apply another coat. Primer is Built In!

I grew up where you did two coats and the first one was considered the primer. My husband was raised to always use primer so this was a wonderful compromise! The ONLY Exterior Paint!

Goes on with ease and adds the perfect color to any exterior project you have. This is a very durable paint with primer already mixed in so there’s no need to spend extra for that separate can of primer.

Excellent paint

Nice Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Valspar® Duramax® Exterior Paint & Primer. I had the product tinted in Boughs of Pine for our outdoor shed. After cleaning and doing some rough sanding on the exterior of the shed, I was ready to start painting. What I like about the product is that the first coat acts as a primer. Impressive!

I have a shed that sits under a heavy canopy of pines and tends to have algae growth on the lower quarter panel. Duramax brushed on easily in a thick coat, covered and sealed in one pass. Paint dries quickly and delivers as promised!
