We challenged TV host and blogger Monica Mangin of East Coast Creative to refresh a builder grade master bathroom on a budget. One of her projects used peel-and-stick vinyl wood plank to create an accent wall. Follow these three easy steps for a new look in your bathroom.

Step 1

Placing peel and stick plank

Starting in the bottom left corner, place a single peel-and-stick plank.

Step 2

Hammer copper tanks

Hammer two copper tacks at the end of every plank.

Step 3

Offset wall planks

When you’ve laid one plank, finish off the rest of the row. On the second row, offset your planks so that the seams don’t line up. Continue adding rows as desired.
