Buying another one even though had a cracking door

I have the 1.1 Low Profile Combo. Love all the features but the of the door is cracked and splintered. I noticed others have had the same is specially the black on black. It's a shame that I have to order a new one and they are not cheap. Perhaps it's could be from heat and steam coming from the stove top when you boil something. Just a guess. I will buy a new one and hopefully a Black on Stainless will eliminate the problem. Since the SS should not crack.

Great, until it tried to burn my house down!

I loved this microwave for the past 5 years. Right up until it tried to burn my house down about an hour ago. I had popped a sweet potato into the microwave and set it to sensor cook a large potato as I have done so many times over the years. Love The Microwave, But Hate The Lighting!

Cooktop lighting inadequate.

I bought this microwave to free up countertop space. It replaced a budget model range hood that used two, 50w par20 halogen lamps. This will be important later. Purchased this to replace a 12 year old Whirlpool combination microwave-convection oven over our range. Went with this model to open up the space above the range which it does nicely, and because it has powerful ventilation fans.
