Ice and water fails
This fridge is now 3 years old. I researched it like crazy and though I had made the right decision. It was fine for the first two years, but then the ice tray started cracking. The water then started to go to a dribble. Things freeze if it is on the side or the back of the fridge. I have been through 4 ice makers and I open up the ice maker every Monday now to clear out all the ice gathered on top of the machine and check the tray for cracks.

Built and Sent From the Manufatuer
I ordered the refrigerator from Lowe's and was told it would be coming from Whirlpool. It took almost 6 months to get delivered. I thought there would be a HIGH STANDARD of Quality Control because the unit was being built at the FACTORY! Once it was finally delivered, the two doors were offset by about 3/4 of an inch (It was obvious to see). I lost all of my refrigerated foods/frozen foods, and after the price I paid for the refrigerator, I would have expected MUCH BETTER!

Decent when it works
We were very satisfied with this refrigerator until it suddenly stopped cooling both compartments in just under a year. It's still within warranty by 5 days, but you do not expect a major appliance to just fail in its primary purpose in such a short time. Also, Whirlpool service can not address the problem for six days, so there goes all the food we have stored. Very unhappy with the reliability of this product!
