Deck project success

We are very pleased with the Rainer Trex Decking! it seems very durable and was easy to install with the hidden fasteners. It isn't as hot as other composite decks we've been on either, we are so glad we upgraded to the Trex Transcend Lineage! we are excited to use this deck for years to come!

I really enjoy looking at the new deck. I wish I'd have done it sooner. Really beautiful & will last a lot longer that the old wooden deck.

Does get hot in the sun

Only lacks some items or should order takes time

Delivery went well, product is good. I found the last "board" somewhat stained and damaged with a 1.5"x 1/8" cut on the top. Will be able to use it because I need to split the board. Packagers need to be more careful and only send good product.

Coolest in my direct sun test

Light and medium colored Trex Transcend Lineage capped composite samples under direct sun after 1 hour were ~104 deg F vs ~112-117 def F for competing light colored Moistureshield Voyage Surestone and Timbertech Harvest Advanced PVC. Trex Lineage scratched similar to the other samples. Moistureshield has less expansion and contraction. Trex Lineage was tied with the TimberTech PVC for highest price per lineal foot.

Never received refund for damaged board

One of these 20-foot boards arrived via delivery crushed and split on one end. I asked for a replacement board and to have the broken board be picked up and be credited accordingly. The broken board was picked up, but I received no refund. Despite at least two attempts with Lowe's customer service for a refund, I have yet to see a refund over three months later. Delivered the wrong Trex boards

I was holding off on reviewing, but I've contacted Lowe's twice, and each time they have said an associate would contact me within 24 hours to resolve the issue. This hasn't happened. I ordered Trex Transcend products, but Trex Enhance products were delivered. I refused delivery, contacted Lowe's immediately afterward and then again on the next business day. I've heard nothing.
