Coolest in my direct sun test
Light and medium colored Trex Transcend Lineage capped composite samples under direct sun after 1 hour were ~104 deg F vs ~112-117 def F for competing light colored Moistureshield Voyage Surestone and Timbertech Harvest Advanced PVC. Trex Lineage scratched similar to the other samples. Moistureshield has less expansion and contraction. Trex Lineage was tied with the TimberTech PVC for highest price per lineal foot.

Never received refund for damaged board
One of these 20-foot boards arrived via delivery crushed and split on one end. I asked for a replacement board and to have the broken board be picked up and be credited accordingly. The broken board was picked up, but I received no refund. Despite at least two attempts with Lowe's customer service for a refund, I have yet to see a refund over three months later. Do not buy because Lowe's apparently will not honor a return of a board that was obviously damaged on delivery. My review includes p...

Delivered the wrong Trex boards
I was holding off on reviewing, but I've contacted Lowe's twice, and each time they have said an associate would contact me within 24 hours to resolve the issue. This hasn't happened. I ordered Trex Transcend products, but Trex Enhance products were delivered. I refused delivery, contacted Lowe's immediately afterward and then again on the next business day. I've heard nothing. Bad product
I like the product however it is dealing with the people at Lowes that has been a challenge.When I got the deck project delivered 95 percent of the boards were bowed or twisted. Not allowed to return them, had to buy all new boards. Spent more than I wanted to because I had to repurchase boards due to the horrible picking by Lowes.
