Trex 6-in x 6-in Classic White Composite Deck post base trim

Check order upon arrival

Always check your order when delivered half of my order was wrong the boxes were all beat up. My post skirts were not the one I ordered and one was broken upon arrival not happy.

Great option to replace old post skirts

Finally, Trex has started making their post skirts in two pieces that snap together! (And hey Lowes, would be nice if you'd update your online description to mention this!) I bought these to replace the rotting, crumbling original composite one-piece skirts on my 15-year-old Trex deck. They snap together quite tightly (takes a little effort and just the right alignment) and look perfect. Note also that they are just about a quarter inch narrower around the bottom than my original sleeves, so the...

Miss leading description and images

Description states slides over post and pictures show one piece, it doesn't state or show an image that its a two piece product. It came in 2 pieces that snap together and leave unsightly seams even customer service at the store stated it should be one piece that slides over the post. I had this item delivered but now i have to return it to the store to get my money back.

Excellent product easy to use

I'm returning them

I just bought 8 of them to go around 4x4 sleeves. They are way too big and would look sloppy.

The only bad thing was that I received two notices that this order was ready for pickup when it wasn't received by the Lowe's store! I made a trio into Lowe's for nothing!

perfect to avoid having to miter cut pieces.

post cover

I like how it snaps together so that you don't have to take the rails apart to slide it over the top of the post.

Great design

Love the design, much better than the previous design, this design allows you to separate the saddle in two for easy removal if you ever need to relevel your post

Ordered 6x6 base yrim not 4x4 base trim

I have ordered 6x6 base trim for the 3rd time. Hoping to get the 6x6 base trim this time when it's supposed to come in on the 26th. The store has helped me through the ordering of the Trex 6x6 base trim. For some reason, they keep sending 4x4 base trim!
