Good for ceiling joists.
I really like how straight these are for the length of them. I ordered 26 and most of them were almost perfect. There was one with an odd looking knot that was very deep into the middle of it, but I am using it where I will be placing a wall underneath. There were a few that had a significant crown, but not bad enough to take back. Being 16 feet in length, I was surprised that none had significant twist to them.
