Size matters
The product size was not as outlined in the Specs on the Lowes website

Size misleading
According to the specs on the Lowe's site it states that the 'Actual length' is 10 feet and the 'Actual width' is 8 feet. It is actually 10.50 feet long and only 7.33 feet wide. Too long in one dimension, too short in the other. You can use it for an 8 X 10 area rug, but it takes a little trimming of the length ... not much you can do with the width.

This pad is to be use on tile or hardwood flooring
It grips the hardwood floor as well as the pad on top. I thought it mght be thick enough to do away with the pad beneth the rug. It was not.
