Beautiful fan but installation nightmare
I love this fan and it works great but getting it installed was horrible. After trying to get it to work on our own we called customer service. After walking through the whole process with them, they determined that we had the wrong wall control unit. They shipped us a new part but while we waited on that to arrive the fan randomly started working... Very strange. Now that it's working it is a great fan and have had no issues. Great fan once it’s up!
The pros: We like the clean, modern look. The fan is outside, in a screened in porch with taller ceilings, so the remote is handy (no ladder needed to change settings). The cons: We have installed many fans, so we expect poor instructions, but the fan has many more pieces than usual, and even worse instructions/pictures than usual! We do use the wall switch and there is a slight pause before the fan turns on. Not a big deal to us.
