This nailer works flawlessly, and is a joy to use. Every nail is driven with a ton of power that seems to match up with its pneumatic counterparts. I chose to go battery-powered for the ability to work on projects that are nowhere near a power source. Made a good tool even better
This is an upgrade to the first-generation framing nailer. Plenty of power, magazine feels more solid and durable; but honestly the lighter weight is the biggest improvement, as you really feel the difference when using this for longer or repetitive tasks. I wish the depth gauge was a bit easier to manage, but other than that, no misfires, no jams so far, and no complaints.

I'm a frame to finish carpenter for a small GC and one of my least favorite things is having to set up a compressor and hose for a quick task like framing a pony wall or doing back out framing. Light but Mighty
This framer really out punches its weight class. Not to heavy and can sink 3 1/2 in anything I've attempted. If you're on the fence about one. Its a must have. Far better tool than my experience with the yellow or red brands. Also had to have this tool serviced and that process was absolutely seamless. Great company yo deal with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this nailer 10 months ago, and I could not be more happy with the performance. It is for sure a workhorse it sinks, the nail every time even into LVL. Have not had a problem with cold weather performance and the best thing is it's not as heavy as the competition work above your head is an ease. The only thing I would say it needs is a belt hook like the older model. Since I have entered the metabol line I have acquired 10 of their too...
