about 2 months after the 1 year warranty expired, the dryer stopped working. Factory service charges flat rate $340.00 for a repair. A stacked w/d combo is too heavy for me to move to open it up. So when the repairman comes, he finds that a power connector on the circuit board had never been locked down at the factory. After enough months of vibration, it finally wiggled free from the pins. What a lousy thing!
Incredibly poor customer service
This has been the single worst customer service experience of my 66 1/2 years of life. We purchased a washer and dryer and paid for delivery and removal of our old appliances. Had the previous model and it was better
Main issue with this newer model is the moisture sensor consistently shuts off the dryer even when setting the dry setting to highest possible. This results in switching over to a manual setting that is timed and over rides the sensor. My vent system is brand new, only about two feet directly outside and I clean the lint filter between every load. I may break down and file a warranty repair but a brand new dryer should not have this issue.
Issue is NOT the dryer. It's Lowe's Service
I returned this dryer on July 10th. It's Aug 24th and I have yet to receive a refund for my purchase - that's 6 weeks of Lowe's holding over $800 of my money.

Love this Maytag stacked washer & dryer
Needed a new washer & dryer after having our old Maytag set for 20 years. The Appliance Dept at the Hwy 153 Lowe's in Chattanooga/Hixson were extremely key in making this purchase happen! Special thanks to Pam, Jess, Chris, the warehouse team as well as delivery man Santiago and his crew. The team at Hwy 153 were courteous and patient, helping with all of our questions and needs. Dryer stopped drying clothes after 3 uses
Dryer stopped drying after 3 uses. Had to rewash a load 3 times because all it did was run for 30 minutes and then shut off. Clothes were still completely wet. Dryer did absolutely nothing but use electricity. Either the sensor is defective, or the exhaust hose was installed improperly or both. Not worth the money if this is going to be the norm for the lifecycle of this appliance. Should have gotten something cheaper and more mechanical and less computer.

Not impressive…my worst Maytag yet!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t say I’m impressed with this dryer. This is my 3rd Maytag dryer and the worst one yet. It’s already making some odd noises when I dry a heavier load of towels…and only after a few months. The dial has options for Normal or Regular which is comical as you’d think they’re the same thing.

Dryer delivery fiasco
My dryer is still sitting in my garage because it was not installed! My salesperson did not know that the installers wouldn’t install a stackable on a custom build shelve! Had I been told , had they known and informed me I could have had the shelve removed so my washer and dryer could have been installed. Deeply disappointed and dissatisfied. One feature that was included in my last appliance that is not on this washer is a 35 minute quick cycle option. The 15 minute quick clean option on this new appliance is not similar. Other than that the cycles seem a bit longer and it makes me wonder about electricity use. Overall, the appliances are doing a great job.
