My dryer is still sitting in my garage because it was not installed! My salesperson did not know that the installers wouldn’t install a stackable on a custom build shelve! Had I been told , had they known and informed me I could have had the shelve removed so my washer and dryer could have been installed. Deeply disappointed and dissatisfied. The salesperson should have known ! I was charged for delivery and installation and the service was not provided, an adjustment in charges was not offered ...

This dryer has dry selection just for decoration the only way to dry your clothes is to use time dry (were you set the timer)

Awesome delivery men - Jeff and Eliijah!!!!
So far so good! The delivery men were outstanding and went above and beyond!! Jeff and Elijah are a breath of fresh air in the courteously, professionalism and efficiency! These men deserve praise and a raise. This is the second time I have had a delivery from them and they stay consistent and are super nice too!!
Maytag is not Maytag
It used to be a brand that you could trust. Well forget it, this is a piece of junk. I had it less than a week and water was leaking (yes water out of a dryer). It obviously was either stored in a poor location, or it is a return. Not an easy return process, and I had bought the extra warranty which is smoke and mirrors. Long story short, have a new one and now the digital controls are intermittent--I always have to unplug to reset. My recommendation: don't buy (ps. the washer is junk too)

Adequate for our needs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The controls to start the dryer are more complicated than they need to be and the unit is noisier than our previous Maytag. We would have gotten another manufacturer's stackable, but were told that it wouldn't mount properly with our Maytag washer.

Lots of room for comforters.
The only thing we didn't like is that there is no light in the base to see your clothes. Other than that it works very well. And lot's of room.

Avoid this Maytag product
Bought this dryer about 8 years ago with its companion washer. The washer literally self-destructed 3 year ago, blowing up and damaging the wall next to it. The dryer doesn't start when I press the Start button. I fiddle with the knob, but nothing matters. I push the start / pause button, and it beeps at me. It doesn't start. It seems to be a great dryer so far!
I like that it almost matches the Maytag washer that I bought several years ago. I don’t care for the lint catcher. It doesn’t slide in and out super easy.
