Bought the matching set of Maytag. I got 13 years out of my last Maytag washer and dryer.I am hoping to get the same out of this set

Dryer delivery fiasco

My dryer is still sitting in my garage because it was not installed! My salesperson did not know that the installers wouldn’t install a stackable on a custom build shelve! Had I been told , had they known and informed me I could have had the shelve removed so my washer and dryer could have been installed. Deeply disappointed and dissatisfied. The salesperson should have known ! I was charged for delivery and installation and the service was not provided, an adjustment in charges was not offered ...

Great capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The capacity of this dryer is huge! I love that it senses when the load is dry. The lint screen is very easy to clean. This dryer is quiet and does not over dry your laundry. The instructions for use are si.ple and easy to use.

Great Simple Dryer

Maytag is not Maytag

It used to be a brand that you could trust. Well forget it, this is a piece of junk. I had it less than a week and water was leaking (yes water out of a dryer). It obviously was either stored in a poor location, or it is a return. Not an easy return process, and I had bought the extra warranty which is smoke and mirrors. Long story short, have a new one and now the digital controls are intermittent--I always have to unplug to reset. My recommendation: don't buy (ps. the washer is junk too)

Awesome delivery men - Jeff and Eliijah!!!!

So far so good! The delivery men were outstanding and went above and beyond!! Jeff and Elijah are a breath of fresh air in the courteously, professionalism and efficiency! These men deserve praise and a raise. This is the second time I have had a delivery from them and they stay consistent and are super nice too!!

GREAT PROBLEM SOLVER & EASY TO USE

Adequate for our needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The controls to start the dryer are more complicated than they need to be and the unit is noisier than our previous Maytag. We would have gotten another manufacturer's stackable, but were told that it wouldn't mount properly with our Maytag washer.

Poor design, fire hazard

I have the washer and the dryer of this set. The dryer lint trap is a poor design and gets lint stuck in the holes easily which then makes it harder for lint to go through it. So you need to routinely take the entire thing out to clean it and that involves taking some screws out. Well, that’s not a big deal if they didn’t leave one screw behind the front cover.
