Mediocre at best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works as it should and is very quiet. There are 2 drawbacks. One is you have to hold a button and wait for a 3 second countdown to start the machine. The second drawback is the end of cycle notification is so quiet you can hardly hear it. There are three levels and none are loud enough or long enough.

Good Enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needs a light inside the drum when removing laundry. Needs a faster spin in the rinse cycle for water removal. A reversible door would also be nice. Love the extra rinse cycle option but would prefer if it was a stand alone feature with all the other wash cycle choices and not an add on to chosen cycle. Love the fresh hold option.

Disappointed

We have owned this model since June 2024 and I would NOT recommend this machine. We owned an older version of this model for almost 11 years before purchasing this model. I can say this machine is NOT the "old Maytag quality". The machine worked fine for about the first week. Not What I Expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been unbalanced from the beginning. I paid for installation but they were basic. The builder had to tell them how to get the paired dryer to work. Also, I can’t determine if the dryer filter is installed correctly.

NOT user friendly

I have had this washer just a little over a year now and I am making the SECOND warranty repair. The problem stems from the design of the washer. There is NO place for me to clean out the lint trap. It's a feature in every other front load washer except this one. I have to call for a warranty repair just to have the lint trap cleaned out. Self Maintenance Design flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I like this appliance performance and its features, however the conscious descision to not allow access to the pump filter is an absolutely idiotic. A complete removal of the washer front and top is required to access the pump filter to remove hair, coins or other debris that most certainly will occur over the life of the front-loading washing machine. Washes good, takes longer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It seems the spin cycle does not get as much of the water out of the clothes as my last Maytag. Therefore it takes longer to dry the clothes. The Quick wash says it is only 15 minutes which we do not feel is enough time. The normal wash used to be 44 minutes on the older one or we could set the time but on newer one it is 55 minutes. Seems excessive. Glad we could get a new unit that matches our dryer.

Terrible design causes issues

The machine throws error codes saying too many suds, won’t drain and locks the door. The machine needs to be drained as party of maintenance and to do so the whole fricken thing has to come apart because Maytag decided to not put an access in to get to it. I’m not calling out a technician and paying for them to take the whole washing machine apart every few months.
