Leaves residue all over the drum and clothes

Got this on Aug 8th, 3 days ago and followed the directions for the first use. I noticed when it finished that it has a weird residue all over the drum. Did a load of clothes and they felt funny and so did my hands after. So I did a rinse and spin which didn’t help. Same thing tonight and the drum had streaks of whatever it is especially around the top of the drum. I know not to use a lot of detergent and no or very little fabric softener. Guess I will call LG and see what they can do

Have only had the washer for a short time. So far, so good. It's efficient and uncomplicated. The delivery crew ,Jason and Ediel (i know that's not write but can't read the young man's writing) were also professional, quick and polite. Thanks, Lowes!

Amazing!!

First off the customer service, installation and delivery was outstanding. Lowes, you are doing great! The gentlemen delivering were exceptional. I had to hire a plumber to replace both valves so my plumber came the same night and did that. Lowes was able to come back the very next day and install and haul away the old one. The washing machine is a dream, cleans well, fast washes which is great since our laundry piled up. Thank you Lowes and LG!

It's large and does the job

I did a lot of research before buying this. My wife had significant trepidations when I told her we had to set the delicate cycle via the app. She's not that tech savvy so I did it for her and she's OK with it. I thought for a bit she'd want me to take it back because it was a bit complicated. When I explained that probably all the new high-end washers are exactly like this she said OK. It stinks

I have had this washer for 3 1/2 years. I bought it January of 2023. I had it for five months when it began to stink. I was told it was something that I was doing wrong, add less soap, change the soap, use cleaning tablets, use vinegar, use a fan to dry the drum out quicker. I did all of those things and suffered for five months until fall rolled around and then the odor stopped. We do not have dogs, we aren’t washing really dirty items. Each May, the odor returns and remains for the 4-5 months...

This washer does clean well but the settings default to higher water temps and fast spins and there is no permanent press or delicate setting. You can download your preferences for one additional setting but not everyone wants to run their washer from their phone. Clothes do end up quite tangled. The noise level is fairly high.

NOT your "Old School" Washer and Dryer!

Washing Machine: Positive side: Has a nice large tub that doesn't tilt should the load become lopsided, also fits a Queen size bedspread.  Relatively quiet. Horrible customer service and delivery nightmare

Delivery was rescheduled 3 times. I took 3 separate days off from work to wait 8am to 8pm. Each of the three Delivery days I ended up waiting the whole day and got no Delivery. No notice or advance notice from Lowes that it wasn't going to be delivered. Wasted endless hours with online chat and customer support and got standard playbook responses. 48 hour window is all.

Bought a few days ago, called customer service for Lowes about the start button being hard to get started. Customer service stated being I have had it more than 48 hours, I needed to contact LG about it. Why is it that you can sell it but not do anything to correct a problem because I didn't pay extra for the extended warranty. Instead I have to deal with LG because it's under a 1 year factory warranty. Don't believe I will be making anymore big purchases from Lowes.

Short Drain Hose Prevents Proper Placement

The washing machine itself seems to perform well, but I'm only giving it 3 stars because the drain hose is far too short. Due to the limited hose length, I am unable to center the washing machine under the cabinet where my previous washer was installed. I contacted LG to find out whether a drain hose extension is available, but I was told it could take up to 48 hours to receive a response.
