Damaged in the warehouse and bent

Damaged and bent in the box. I asked the salesperson if it was not damaged. He said not and it was on the top shelf. I had put it together in my garage and when setting it on the bottom piece it was swabbing. I then discovered it was bent on the right side and the bottom.I haven’t been back to the store test because I worked six days this week and haven’t had a chance.

Stay away from Kobalt

Kobalt tools does not stand behind their products. Although a parts list is in the manual there is no way to actually order parts. Kobalt customer service is non existent. Phone and Email both go to non existent places. Customer service with lowes advises no way to order parts from the parts list.

Ordered for delivery and got a used/floor model!

Delivered on time. Good quality cabinet. Definitely a used or floor model. It was dusty, had finger prints, small dents, and paint removed around screw holes that mount to base cabinet. I did not return it, but soured me a bit because I ordered it delivered assuming I would get a new in the box unit. Disappointing...

Tool Box

The bottom half was the display model, in very good shape. The top box that I had to unpack had a corner pushed in with paint missing; the packing and container bottom had no damage. This leads me to believe the factory shipped it in this condition. My son (military) and I did Not drop it while placing it on top of the roller. When reading the reviews, others had issues also. Good price, very poor quality control at the manufacturer.

This chest, while available as a single unit, is marketed as a 2-piece option in-store. The chest fits over the 36 inx38 inch, 5-Drawer rolling cabinet. Great set up and perfect for our garage design. The rep that day said they didn't have one in stock, but we could order online for pick up. On our first attempt to place the order, we couldn't find a chest for local pick-up. Assuming the chest was simply out of stock temporarily, we purchased the lower cabinet first since it was a busy Labor ...

Dimensions are wrong

The measurements are backwards it's not 18" tall its 24.8. Found out after I drill the rivers out to remove the lid.
