Love the grease trap in the exhaust port. The temperatures of the burners are different from my previous cooktop, so there is an adjustment to be made. Good, fast heat. Great Assistance from Lowe's
When I ordered this cooktop, I was originally informed that delivery was going to be four weeks later. Last week I got informed that the delivery date could be moved up, so I took the earliest date they offered. Really happy about that. The night before the scheduled delivery, I got a text saying that my delivery time had been bumped a few hours to the right. Problems with cooktop
As a Palisades fire victim, I purchased in July 2025 and just placed in service since we are close to moving back in our home. After ~3 uses, there are bubble-like defects showing under the surface of two of the burners. Just reaching out to Kitchenaid to see if they will do the right thing.

Glass cooktop issues
This is an update from my previous post on glass having bubbles or blemishes under. Whirlpool sent me a cleaning kit and I was astonished that the blemishes were on the surface and came clean. We had not spilled anything that would have caused that. Cooktop looks new again and I’m happy about that. Still looking for a common household cleaner that will work as well as Whirlpools magic juice.

Glass cooktop issues
These new glass cooktops are ugly after 1st use. Bubbles appear under the glass with a halo around the perimeter of the burner. top is brand new, not dirty!!! All other appliances are Kitchen-Aid and I was very happy with them, but apparently all of these glass cook tops have bad reviews now. Very disappointed with this expensive cooktop. Several emails with Whirlpool and they are sending a cleaning kit. IT'S NOT DIRTY. I hate to use this one. I might remove and go gas.

Better than I expected.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure about switching from my old gas cooktop to electric but I am very happy that I did. It heats up quickly, is very versatile in burner element options and the down draft venting is very effective. It is much easier to clean.

Our new Cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is replacing a modular, cartridge Jennair- 42 inch cooktop. Nice to have a true smooth top, that the old one did not have. It heats up very fast and has simmer, warming features that are all very nice. The style of the top is very pretty.

Great features on this new cooktop!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to this cooktop a month ago. I had the other similar cooktop before. This model is different with the surface heating, even heating, ultra cooking heating which allows the temperature to be set exactly the way you want it to cook. It also has a melt or simmer feature. It cooks like a European cooktop! Food ready in minutes and cooked to perfection. Delicious food!!!! Excellent choice
