WHAT A POOR DESIGN - ENGINEERS SHOULD BE FIRED!!!

I am giving this Hunter Fan 0 STARS. I have bought several different ceiling fans with lights recently, and in the past - Harbor Breeze, Hampton Bay and others - this is the first Hunter Fan and it was the most expensive one I bought but I thought it was better quality.I spent 3 hours today assembling it - the last 45 min was trying to mount the light fixture part to the motor housing hub. There was no way I could do it, and I don't know how others did it. For most fans, there is a light mouting...

Very loud fan

Would Not Recommend

This fan is noisy at speeds two and three. I’ve only ever bought Hunters because they DON’T / DIDN’T make noise. It takes two hours to install, now I have to take it down, repackage it to send it back, and order and install another one. VERY disappointed! I can’t get those three hours back!!

Slightly enlarge non-slotted light mounting hole

Would Not Recommend

As mentioned by others, installing the last screw for the light is very, very difficult. The hole did Not want to align and it is impossible to see while trying to insert the screw up and in. I should have disconnected the light and drilled that non-slotted hole a little bigger. Also, I apparently have a narrow distance between the mounting screws on my fan-rated electrical box and no rafters or wood alingside, so I had to make a custom bracket to hold it up.
