The rods only stick to each other :(. Tried on several metal items, and the rods do not magnetize.

Good Looking & Easy Install... Not for All Windows
What I like: no drilling for installation! I love the easy set up, and if my children ever try to hang on it, it won't rip holes in the wall... also, it looks classy. What I don't like: Maybe not all windows all made alike... this product seems to have a very strong magnet, and my window is definitely metal around the edge, but the curtain rod keeps sliding down on one side. Just an inch or two, so it hangs crooked. It drove me crazy for a while, but I think I've found the magic spot now where ...
