It works pretty well. You need to have the Google Home app to install the thermostat and make any changes to settings. In the app, it is easy to set up a schedule or turn it on/off while traveling. I've had this thermostat for 5 years and it worked well until it started glitching and occasionally would not send the heat signal to the HVAC but the app showed that it did. So the temperature would continue dropping in the house without any notice until you manually catch it. This made it very unrel...
