Easy install and WI-FI control is awesome!
Bare bones device - Probably not what you want
Purchased two of these for my home looking forward to a smart home upgrade. They do function, but are extremely limited in their integration with smart home apps and features. You CANNOT use sensors for separate rooms. You CANNOT automate based on humidity (even though the device measures it). There's really no advantage over existing thermostats. I've had to change the batteries multiple times despite having a power wire that worked totally fine in an old thermostat. Generally feel I was sucker...
cannot access remotely
Do not like the fact that Nest has ended support for their 1st and 2nd gen on 10/25/2025. as a result this thermostat will not connect to the nest app and cannot be accessed remotely.

Great item and instore support
Turns out I need a C wire adapter after I got home. Says free but Google wants to charge me $25. Not the Lowe’s guys fault Very helpful and I got the Nest for free when he showed me how to get the MassSave instant coupon. Looking forward to installing and being able to check remotely
