Failed after 2.5 years of meh

When it worked, it worked okay but did not always do great at cleaning clothes so sometimes had to do multiple washes of the same item. The worst issue is what happened to us this week after 2.5 years of ownership, it crapped out on us and will not finish a load of laundry. On a side note, Lowes claim service is taking almost a week to get out here so I have no way to wash clothes or towels til next week sometime.

Do not buy the product or better yet any GE

If you a considering the purchase of the product or for that matter any GE product. Leave the appliance area and go to hand tools and have someone take a hammer and let them hit you with it. I purchased this washer and have had the absolute worst experience with repairs to include warranty work done GE has fallen from what was once a reputable company to total junk.

Under 2 Years - Failure

Buying this GE washer was one of the worst appliance purchases I've made. The machine failed after only 18 months, which is completely unacceptable for a product that costs hundreds of dollars and is expected to serve a household for years. Ge washing machine

My old washer had a bad bearing so my wife and I read the reviews and decided to buy this one. I am hear to tell you, we are very pleased. It is very quiet and we like the fresh vent system to dry the insides. It runs about 8 hours so we put on after the last load. Very wonderful system. We recommend.

Quit working after 3 years

After only 3 years the machine stopped working. A technician came out and determined that both the motor and inverter board needed to be replaced, only the motor is covered by the 10 year warranty, and it takes two weeks to get. So the total cost to me would be almost $600. I expect significantly better quality from GE.

terrible DO NOT BUY!!!!

DO NOT BUY!!! You will regret it! I have had my washer and dryer for 2 years now. Pretty sure both are lemons. First off my dryer takes over 2 hours to dry anything. Doesn't matter if it's a small load or large. Washer will not drain all the way and it never gets my clothes clean.

Do not buy

Purchased this set in December 23. 15 months in my dryer drum cracked. After many calls and 5 weeks without a working dryer, they warranted me a replacement drum. 2 1/2 years in the control board on the washer went out. Contacted GE with no help. Contacted Mr Appliance for the repair only to find out that the drain pump needed to be replaced after it fried a 2nd control board. Total cost $844. Would not recommend this product or Lowe's

I bought this washing machine on June 16th. It is now July 31st, and it will not complete a cycle. The only GE warranty company only works on products they sold. I have called other appliance stores, and they are the same. In order for GE to send me the replacement part, they have to have someone service the machine. 27 months...

Bought this as a set in March 2024. Within 3 months had to have lower motor board replaced under warranty (Why put a control board under the unit instead of up top with everything else?). Now at 27 months with unit 15 months out of warranty the water intake valves and door lock codes are on. Cannot open the door. The code check and tests confirm.
