There is no drain and spin only cycle. I washed some pillows and they got off centered and there’s no way to spin them out and have the water drain. You have to keep sending it through cycles which it will continue to do the same thing. Very disappointed in this machine.

Terrible washer

I bought this product and the door lock broke about two years in. I had a warranty but it didn’t cover the cost of everything and they couldn’t fix it so I had to get a new machine.

Control board died after 1.5 years

This was a lovely washer, until it wasn't. It started glitching on us a few days ago: blinking lights, shutting down after we hit start on a cycle, giving us a door error message, etc. We tried a few things recommended online and finally called a repair tech. He said the control board was shot--which is apparently a known issue with this GE washer. Parts and repair cost over $700. Not worth the money to die after a little more than a year. Stay away.

Leaking seal

Only 2 months old, maybe 30 loads of laundry and the front seal has torn. Paid for extra coverage and Lowe’s says I have to contact manufacturer, manufacturer says contact Lowe’s. Just super frustrating getting the run around.

Good Washer

It's been a great washer in the time we've had it. The stack ability with the dryer is quite the bonus.

Mold

We have been battling mold on this washer since we got it. We routinely clean it and always leave the door open, and yet the blue ring on the inside I cannot keep mold free. It seems once it gets mold it's impossible to clean off.

Great washer. Easy to use and fairly quiet operation. Holds a lot of clothes per load.

Lied and then damaged machine

Delivery guy called at 8am,said they’d be there in 20 min, no show. Called Lowe’s, they insisted it was delivered and installed. Never happened. Driver called again at noon, said he would be here in 20 minutes. He got there in 10 minutes, took out the old washer, tried to install the new one. He stripped the thread on the hot water outlet, but said it was defective. He took away the one that didn’t work (it was under warranty and after 6 weeks of multiple service visits it never worked) and he t...

Upgraded!

Bought a month ago & have never been more excited to do laundry! Major upgrade from previous machine.. Bonus points for the wonderful delivery communication

Great washer and great installers

The washer was a replacement for the same model. I like this model and mine is a stacking unit. The installers were excellent.

Broken in less than 3 years

The door lock mechanism is broken in less than 3 years and appliance repair won't look at it. Told me cheaper to buy a new machine.

Broke right after warranty ended

First, I never write reviews, but I had to write one for this horrible appliance. Do not purchase!! Bought it a year and a half ago, and it already has two things wrong with it. Every cycle, I leave the door open to vent and I do a clean cycle once a month. I take very good care of it, but it broke right and it's right outside the warranty so they won't cover it. It took weeks to get the parts and have someone come fix it from GE, and it still isn't working.

Please do not buy this

Not even 3 years old, GE service blew off our appointment. Minimum 600 in repairs, likely more according to tech. Please for the love of all that is sacred, spend the extra $ for a speedqueen or steal your grandparents old school washers. You have been warned.
