Absolutely terrible

I’m not exaggerating when I say my clothes would dry quicker on a line in the sun. They’re using the term ‘eco friendly’ in lieu of ‘this product is beyond terrible’. It takes over 3.5 hours to dry a regular size load of clothes. And of course by the time you figure this out, it’s too late to do anything about it. You’re stuck with a dryer that takes longer to dry a single load of clothes than carrying and delivering a baby. We love GE, but they should have never let this machine enter the marke...

Zero Stars. Dryer ruins anything you dry.

We purchased this dryer, after using it twice, it ruins anything you put in it. It creates black marks on all the articles that go in it. The technician stated there really isn't a fix, it's a known GE problem. He's going to replace the parts, but says it will continue to be a problem. What a joke. We need a new dryer after purchasing a brand new dryer.

Not crazy about the automatic settings

So far it works great. We’ve had similar models before. The drawbacks of this one is that you can’t adjust the time + or - minute by minute and there are only so many settings for times available. Also, every time you turn it on it automatically switches back to the “normal” cycle instead of what you last used. That’s frustrating. I haven’t tried setting any custom settings yet. Maybe that will solve those problems but I’m not sure. Other than that, it dries just fine.

Turn off Eco Dry and it's FABULOUS

After much research, I learned this tip before my first drying cycle and it's worth titling the review as such. Gets my clothes dry in a single go, I like the different settings with many more heat levels than my previous dryer. I turn off Eco Dry each cycle. It does have a surprisingly small lint catcher but after a couple weeks of use so far, it's not posed any problems. I would recommend.

Another Terrible Product

This is the dryer we purchased with the deep load washer. When operating it's loud and you have to use two or more cycles to completely dry the load. We miss our LG series washer and dryers. Product metal is very thin and moves around on the floor when you are drying clothes.

Won’t dry

We had bought these machines 8 years ago and they were very reliable. Bought new as they were starting to wear out. They delivered the new units and we left on a trip so didn’t use them right away. When we got back the dryer wouldn’t get the clothes dry. AVOID!!!

The absolute worst dryer I've ever owned. In order for clothes to dry in a reasonable amount of time you need to do the smallest load possible. Otherwise you will be restarting it 4-5 times for the clothes to dry. It has also ruined more items then I can count. It catches and rips them and destroys strings on shorts. It's been less than 4 years and I can't take it anymore, I am getting rid of it and buying something else.

Disappointing Product. Lousy Delivery

Bought the "up-scale" dryer, because all the normal ones were too low and poorly made -- flimsy doors. First unit was broken -- made a squeaking noise when running. It took nearly 2 weeks to replace it. Delivery team messed up the venting when installing. Dryer does not reliably dry clothes, ironically. "Normal" setting has an "eco" feature that prevents drying. Buyer Beware

To summarize, this dryer is a piece of junk, and Lowe's return policy is predatory, at best. This machine leaves black, grease-like stains on any material that is silky/upscale/athletic as the thin fabric slips behind the area where the drum meets the front. The stains do not come out with any stain remover or bleach.
