It penetrates into the surface and chemically reacts to form a hydrophobic barrier in the pores that can reduce the absorption of surface water by up to 95%. By reducing the absorption of surface water, damage and deterioration caused by water absorption such as cracking, spalling, freeze-thaw, salt damage, and mold and mildew growth is also reduced. Easily applied with a pump sprayer, the Armor SX5000 WB can last for up to 7-10 years below the surface when properly applied.
