Easy way to cover a hole
This medallion was a cheap and easy way to solve a gnarly problem. Hanging a ceiling fan required a new outlet box. A new outlet box requiured a bigger hole in the ceiling. After cutting away the drywall for access the medallion allowed me to bypass all the usual drywall repairs and painting. Had to slightly enlarge the hole in the medallion with jig saw. Put a coat of ceiling paint on the medallion, slide the two pieces together with adhesive on the back and bippity-boppity-boo it's done!

Good deaign
Love that this is split so you can add after a fixture is already up. Also easy to sand and trim to size.

They Just Cut The Damaged Whole Ones in Half!!!
Terrible! You pay a premium for the 2 pieces and all they do is cut the damaged one-piece ones in half. If it wasn't such a hassle (and if I wasn't on a time crunch because the first time they actually sent me a one-piece instead), I would return it and never look at this brand again. Don't believe that they cute the damaged one-piece ones in half, think again, they forgot to take the sticker off of the back that stated it was damaged!
