Empire's neoclassical design effortlessly elevates any flat or suspended ceiling, adding an element of refinement and elegance. These tiles can be used as lay-in solutions in standard 1-inch, 15/16-inch, or 9/16-inch drop ceilings, or simply adhered to existing flat ceilings. They are also suitable as re-facing tiles beneath suspended or drop ceilings, allowing you to retain your existing mineral fiber acoustical tiles if desired. Once installed, these durable PVC tiles deliver the classic appearance of traditional tin ceiling tiles at a more affordable price point.
Made from durable 0.030 in thick rigid vinyl material, this product functions as a drop-in tile for standard or slimline grid systems, can be used to reface existing mineral fiber tiles, or adhered to flat surfaces (strips required to cover seams).
Will not rust, stain, or corrode, and are unaffected by water or humidity; they are resistant to mold, mildew, and bacteria.
Impact resistant ceiling panels are 2 ft x 2 ft (actual size 23 3/4 in x 23 3/4 in), each panel covers a 4 sq ft area, and each case contains 6 individual tiles that covers a total of 24 sq ft

Because of their unique 3D styling, these panels are not suitable for border areas, where panels must be trimmed to less than full size; for border areas Ceilume's Fleur-de-lis or Continental are a perfect complement to the Empire's design
As a general rule, Ceilume ceiling tiles and panels will not be affected by ceiling level temperatures up to 120°F; in some installations involving halogen lights, metal heat registers and, radiant heat sources (wood stoves, kitchen ovens, etc ), localized ceiling and ceiling tile temperatures can be much higher than anticipated; please contact the manufacturer for specific advice if your installation has any of these special conditions
