Good quality and affordable. It won't last forever but you'll get plenty of consistent hours out of it. Have had a couple over the last decade and they are a solid option.

Short of expectations

It heats the glue but the trigger does not dispense it consistently as it should. Also, the front tab/protector worked fine but the the trigger is too narrow for it to act as a brace to hold the gun up…Arrow needs to develop a wider trigger or better back stand for the gun to remain upright…I constantly had to keep trying to getting it to stand correctly, which made it more difficult to glue the items together before the glue hardened. Good versatile glue gun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall it’s a good hot glue gun for a variety of projects . I bought to use for simple crafting and a little bigger projects. So far I like it. Like stated before the stand isn’t as stable as I’d hope. The glue gun gets knocked over easily.

Gun Won't Stay Upright / Poor Feed Mechanism

This gun is being returned. I bought this glue gun (TR550) partially based on the reliability of the Arrow brand. Unfortunately, this gun is barely usable. The feed mechanism is weak (too many trigger pulls required to feed glue stick), but the biggest issue it the mounting stand. Unless the power cord is perfectly positioned, the gun will not stay upright and tips over due to the pointed bottom of the handle.
