Love this faucet but base plate not included
I love this faucet! The quality is very nice. The sprayer pulls out very smooth. Installing it was pretty straight forward. I love the height. It makes washing larger pots very easy. The only negative thing I have to say is that it doesn't come with the base plate. That is sold separately although Lowe's doesn't carry it. I had a base plate from an old fixture that I used so if you have existing holes that need covered you'll need to buy that part from somewhere. Most faucets come with the plate...

Good Faucet
This took me about 15 minutes to install. I am an experienced amateur, but not a professional plumber. If you are handy, you can probably do it in 15 minutes. Otherwise, plan for an hour or so. I installed it on an existing 3-hole stainless steel sink. Be aware that this application will require a deck plate and an under-sink deck stiffener, which are NOT included. Nice enough i think.
The faucet here is ok. And by that I mean, it works, the connections are good the water flows nicely. The finish is ok too. The handle operates smooth enough and it was pretty simple to install. The usual pieces. The pull out faucet is nice and the counter weight made it work ok. But it just feels fragile. Nothing has broke so far I just don't get the impression that it is a solid build. Elegantly Designed
The faucet is nice and easy to install. The linesare easy to attach. The weight on the access line for the nozzle hangs a bit low. The neck is a little stiff to turn from side to side. The switch between the spray modes is handy but the button on the head just pauses the water. Kind of pointless to have a pause, if you need the water to stop, you likely are not gonna stand there holding the button.

Nice stainless steel faucet
This is a very nice faucet and feels very solid. It was very easy to install, simple, instructions and all parts labeled. All in all it took me about 30 minutes, including removing my old faucet. The wand comes out and retracts smoothly. However, when my wife tested the wand, the gray plastic hose guide popped out (see picture). Simple hook up with a hot and cold line. Attach the retractable faucet head with the quick connects and your in business. If you are using a base that needs to be purchased separately.

American Standard Stainless Steel Kitchen Faucet
I like the quality of American Standard, all brass parts for the mounting, not plastic like other brands. I like the button for pausing the flow of water, nice feature! Only downsides I found were that the escutcheon plate was not included, just an inconvenience to order one if installing on a three hole sink. Also, the faucet end is retracted by the weighted hose, some have a magnetic holder which I like better.
