Quick Door Update
User Suzie67’s new house had beautiful doors, but ugly brass hardware: “knowing I don't have a fortune to update the hardware to the oil-rubbed bronze finish I desired, I found a most economical way.” She used two coats of a Rust-oleum spray paint on door handles and a light socket cover plate for her desired finish.
Bedroom Wall Treatment
In Utah, user Lindsay02 wanted to add some visual interest to her master bedroom. She installed her own board and batten cut from 4 x 8 foot sheets of ½-inch MDF.
“Lowe’s made this project easy and inexpensive. I’m so happy with how it turned out,” she says.
Mosaic Tiled Terracotta Pots
User Jaylisa0628 had terracotta pots that needed a makeover. The gardener bought ceramic tile, grout adhesive, grout and sealer from Lowe’s to make these mini masterpieces. “I look forward to shopping Lowe’s again in search of more inspiration,” the user says.
This Los Angeles homeowner was looking for a new note station and decided on a non-traditional notepad. User DIYdiva added a chalkboard wall to the end of the kitchen: “It keeps visiting kids occupied, and gives people a creative outlet to draw or write notes.”
DIY Cake Stands
A couple wanted something unique for their wedding cake table. They decided to DIY their cake stands using three terra-cotta pots, one terra cotta-saucer, three 12-inch x 12-ing floor tiles, and spray paint. Users mgn4ever say the $30 project took only an hour.
