This is a paring knife that many are familiar with. It does a great job on rounded fruits and veggies, the compact length makes it very maneuverable and the curved bolster brings you closer to the food being pared, making the knife safer.

The perfect peeling knife! I love to use these for potatoes! It gets under the skin so well. Great for peeling apples too!
From Zwilling.com
Have you ever seen someone peel an apple or a potato with one circular motion and wonder how it looks so easy? Well this is the secret. You'll be amazed at how much easier it is to peel fruits and vegetables with this super sharp, curved blade. The handle fits comfortably in your hand and has a nice weighted feel. The Pro knives are made from specially formulated steel that will resist corrosion and retain a sharp cutting edge use after use.

Love this knife for peeling anything - fruits, veggies and even potatoes! That sharp end makes it easy to get under the skin and pull back! I love having a bird's beak peeler, in addition to my 4" paring. Both for different or even same uses. This one fits nicely in a smaller hand and the newer curved bolster is great for support.

Love this knife
Would RecommendThis is one of my favorite knives! I take it on vacation because it's perfect for deveining shrimp! I use it almost daily at home for hulling strawberries and digging bad spots out of apples. It is super sharp, very comfortable and extremely durable! As a general rule, I do not put my knives in the dishwasher, but it does occassionally happen. It has not affected the performance at all! You cannot go wrong with any of the Pro knives. They are built to last a lifetime!

An interesting designed knife for peeling skins from apples, pears, etc. Comfortable to use and the shape does make sense for soft skinned fruit.

Great for strawberries
Would RecommendI use this little knife more often then I thought I would. I bought it specifically for coring strawberries but found myself using it more as a paring knife too. Once you get used to the shape paring apples with this knife is easier than a regular paring knife. Great for eyeing potatoes and citrus garnishes.

One of the best blade shapes ever invented
Would RecommendIt was a revelation when I found this blade shape. It is a must have for anyone who works with cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, strawberries or artichokes. (Those are just the things I used my bird's beak paring knife on this week. The Pro line, with its angled bolster, has actually made the bird's beak better. It sits at an optimal angle for easy coring of fruit and vegetables, peeling of the tough outer leaves of an artichoke. This is a definitely a knife where the quality of the steel and t...

Great for hand-work such as peeling fruits and vegetables. Fits in your hand snuggly and because of the curved bolster, it supports the pinch grip. I don't have to worry about slipping with this one!!

Although I got one, it rarely gets used, if at all... a non-essential knife in my opinion. I’ve had no problems peeling with my paring knife or a ZWILLING peeling tool.
