Zline Hood Installation

I purchased this about a month ago, and a contractor installed the hood. Over the last week, it appears that the fans cycle speeds causing some minor vibration - almost like a ramping up and down of the fan(s).

Great value

Bought to replace a very expensive designer hood which had poked numerous holes in my forehead with its sharp corners. The Zlime came with good, ie. simple illustrated, instructions. Even installing the remote motor was not much of a problem. It is very quiet on its highest speed and removes odors much better than the expensive designer hood.

Works great!

This hood works excellent! The fan is quiet but powerful and it’s easy to find a setting that is comfortable. The lights are great too. Installation was smoother than anticipated. Minus one star because there was not an option to install the outer wood wrap without putting screws directly through the side of the wood. The cabinet maker had several suggestions to hide the screws but none of them fit with the rest of the kitchen.

Custom Zline installation

I was having a hard time finding a high quality range hood insert, with high cfm, that I could build a custom wood shell over. I couldn’t be happier that I chose a Zline product.

Nice Hood

We purchased this hood about 4 months ago. The features are very nice. If you have to have it on high, it is a bit on the loud side. Lower settings are fine.

We could not be happier with our new hood insert. Strong enough to suck the fillings from your teeth, yet quiet enough not to be obtrusive. It's decorative front is made of "REAL" stainless steel (non-magnetic) and not that cheap stuff used by most foreign manufacturers now days to wrap most of our modern appliances! Works Great!

Looks nice and very functional! Keeps the heat out the kitchen without a lot of fan noise. 4 speeds, but usually only go as high as 2. LED lights do well for lighting stove area.

Vent hood

Love the hood! Only complaint is that the lights cannot be dimmed and the lowest fan setting is louder than expected.

Hard time deciding between Zline and custom wood built unit. Glade we choose Zline it's quality and appearance is outstanding.

Perfect to draw out burned natural gas

Bought this because I have a long vent run to outside. It is perfect for that. I like the adjustable spotlights for our mural over stove. Only one thing is a problem. My wife can't reach the light switch since it is in rear. She will have to use a pencil to turn light on and off.

Love It!

Bought this range hood several months ago and really helped solve my cooking odor problem! My husband loves to fry everything. My new range hood takes care of all those stale, greasy smells!

Range hood insert

We absolutely love our Zline stainless steel range hood insert. It was pretty easy to install and works perfectly. Looks great and very reasonably priced.

this is a good product but a lot of noise produced is way louder than sones listed.

Good value, not perfect though

Pleased overall. Several of the corner welds did not hold. I purchased it almost a year before I needed it and didn't unbox it until recently. Ended up adding a few stainless pop rivets to secure the corners.

Well made and visually beautiful

We use these inserts quite a bit and they're always consistent in build quality and appearance. Great value for what you get. Stainless baffles and LED lighting really make this have a high end look.

The hood range is economical

I bought this range hood insert a couple months ago for a remodel project. The fan is Awesome & pulls air quickly out! The draw back is the lighting is out dated & gets very hot quickly adding heat to the kitchen. They don't tell you the lights are Halogen! LED lights would be cooler & more efficient. When I Called to complain they said they would send a kit for LED lighting which of course never came. They did admit to the halogen lights were very hot so I just don't use the lights on the hood ...
