Nice but very noisy

Have had this installed for a few months. Installation was straightforward and operation is good. It's a solidly built unit. This unit though is very loud. I thought my previous Sirius unit was loud, but this one puts that to shame. It sounds like the wind blowing across the frigid Tundra. I did reach out to Z-line for suggestions and they told me to flip the filters around. This made a noticeable difference because the whistling stopped, but overall the noise level didn't not diminish. With one...

Great Hood Vent

Fan works great. Lights look good and the baffles are easy to remove and wash.

Defective when received

Now that it is installed and functioning it seems to work great. Unfortunately, I had to replace the circuit board and the cable to the blower motor as both were defective when I received the unit. It is a little frustrating to pay preium prices and receive a unit with multiple defects. The replacements partsd were at no cost but I had 100% of the labor on me.

Works great!

Bought this insert for our new build, I wanted something that would help take the smells of while I was cooking. This does it! Love that it’s easy to clean and the top pieces are washable. Would definitely recommend

Crazy Great - Functional and Beautiful

Did a lot of research before settling on this Hood Insert. Needed the remote blower (oh it is so quiet) with the LED lights and baffle technology filters and this one fit every requirement. Have had it functional for 6 months and couldn't be more pleased.

Great Quality!

I bought mind in 2018 and The Range Hood Store was great to work with! Had one small issue but they took care of it right away. In 2019, my lights went out and ZLINE sent me a new light kit right away. This hood will suck the air out of a blimp! Grease filters are easy to remove and clean. Very satisfied.

The perfect insert

We have used the 46” unit in a couple homes so far. We will definitely make this our new standard. Just a simple clean look that functions perfectly. also, the cabinet doors are held shut with magnetic catches so you can access the outlet.

E690 - Insert

Had the E690 hood installed for a Kitchen remodel. Size is perfect for our kitchen. Needed at small size to fit between existing cabinets. fans work great and like appearance. the LED lighting is a little weak and appears to have a LED color rating of about 6000. The rest of our kitchen lighting is between 2700 to 3000 - soft light. We would like to change the light out for a brighter - soft color rated LED light, if possible???

Motor is very loud.

i got this install few days ago, but the Motor is very loud. You cannot install this by yourself. You need atleast 2 people to install this; its very heavy.

Quality product

Purchased 40 inch range hood insert approximately a month ago and just installed. Delivery took a bit longer than the first range hood we ordered from The Range Hood Store, but we found ordering and customer service friendly and informative. This being our second range hood from this company, we are impressed with the packaging and relative ease of installation. Great venting with moderate sound levels. Also enjoy the lighting. Quality stainless finish. Would recommend this product
